REQ-39800The Associate Producer helps the newscast producers with various tasks which include writing stories and other content, creates graphics, edits video, and posts video to the website.* Writes stories* Creates graphics* Balances news and feature content to create compelling broadcasts* Edits video* Pitch story ideas* Helps manage various news segments* Writes stories for the website and other eMedia platforms* Interacts with viewers and users on social media sites* Trains for the ability to produce newscasts for broadcast* Performs other duties as assignedRequirements & Skills:* Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience* Fluency in English* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written* Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment* Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously* Flexibility to work any shift including weekends and on holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
