* Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of recruitment plans to promote programs and maximize student enrollment in the Departments of AOS, EPS, and Geography.* Participate in in-person and virtual recruitment activities and events within the province of Quebec and Ontario (McGill Open House, orientation, site visits to anglophone and francophone CEGEPs and Secondary Schools, etc.) and represent the departments.* Build and deliver engaging presentations, in English and in French, to prospective students and their parents to raise awareness and advise on programs, prerequisites and admissions. Provide clear guidance concerning on-campus services, student life, tuition, financial assistance, potential career paths, etc.* Host student groups from schools and CEGEPs visiting the departments and develop workshops and activities to enhance their visits and experience.* Collaborate and develop effective working relationships with the Faculty of Science and McGill units that provide student and recruitment-related services.* Maintain regular contact with schools and CEGEPs in order to promote programs and revisions, special events, offerings, etc. Maintain databases to track contacts and activities (e.g. schools, contact details, names of counsellors, record of institutions visited relative to “yield” statistics, etc.).* **Education**: Undergraduate degree in a Science field is an asset.* **Experience**: Student recruitment and outreach experience, in a higher education setting is preferred.* Bilingual; excellent verbal and written communication skills, in both English and French.* Demonstrated experience with the development and implementation of student recruitment activities.* Passion for science communication and youth engagement.* Proven experience advising potential students on admission requirements.* Exceptional interpersonal skills, both for internal and external relations, including tact, diplomacy, discretion and good judgment.* Experience organizing and planning recruitment-related events locally and off-campus.* Strong experience in public speaking tailored to different audiences (adult, CEGEP and/or Secondary School students, etc.).
