We are seeking an experienced
Nuclear Power Recruiter
with a strong background in the
commercial nuclear power
and related energy sectors to support our talent acquisition efforts to support customer site management, engineering, operations, outage, maintenance, and regulatory compliance roles. This role requires in-depth industry knowledge and a proactive approach to full‑cycle recruiting for highly specialized positions (qualified nuclear engineering programs, specialized project management, etc.). Key Responsibilities
Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and candidate profiles across nuclear projects and facilities. Source, screen, and present qualified candidates for positions in operations, engineering, project management, licensing, and technical services. Utilize traditional and innovative sourcing strategies, including LinkedIn, niche job boards, and industry networks. Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process, including interview coordination, feedback collection, offer negotiation, and onboarding support. Build and maintain a pipeline of talent for high‑priority and hard‑to‑fill positions. Qualifications
Proven experience recruiting in the
nuclear power industry , including roles at commercial nuclear plants or DOE sites. Active network and access to nuclear engineers, planners, schedulers, project managers Strong understanding of security clearance and badging processes. Familiarity with industry‑specific labor categories and technical terminology (e.g., SROs, I&C, IEEE, NQA-1 roles, P6 Schedulers, etc.). Minimum 3‑5 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years focused on nuclear or highly regulated industries. Experience working in applicant tracking systems (ATS). Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship‑building skills. Experience in hiring short‑term and long‑term contractor (1099) and permanent W2 positions. Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting professional and technical commercial nuclear hiring. Prior recruitment experience for Nuclear related EPC firms, DOE contractors, or commercial nuclear utilities. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, or a technical field.
