Company Overview
Our client is an early-stage technology company building next-generation AI infrastructure designed to remove the limitations of scale, hardware dependency, and cost. Their platform enables developers to write once and run anywhere—delivering state-of-the-art performance across any chip, cloud, or system, from laptops to supercomputers.
The company operates at the intersection of compilers, distributed systems, and AI runtime optimization, rethinking how software and hardware interact in a post–Moore’s Law world. The team is focused on building a unified, hardware-agnostic software stack that powers modern AI training and inference at scale.
This is a highly technical organization tackling frontier problems in performance, developer experience, and AI infrastructure.
Role Overview Our client is seeking a
Technical Product Manager
to work closely with company leadership and engineering to define, build, and execute the product strategy behind a next-generation AI platform.
This is not a typical PM role. The Technical Product Manager will operate at the intersection of compilers, distributed runtimes, and developer tooling—translating complex systems into products that materially improve how AI teams train, deploy, and optimize models at scale.
The role requires driving clarity in ambiguous environments, validating product hypotheses, defining success metrics, and ensuring the delivery of high-impact, scalable solutions for enterprise AI teams and model builders.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in deeply technical environments, enjoys working from first principles, and wants to shape the future of AI infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
Identify and analyze AI workloads across industries, with a focus on large-scale training and inference infrastructure
Define product strategies for optimizing AI workloads using a hardware-agnostic software stack
Partner closely with engineering teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver complex technical products
Engage directly with enterprise AI teams, model builders, and developers to gather insights and translate them into product requirements
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and marketing to support adoption and go-to-market execution
Define, track, and analyze key metrics to measure product impact and drive continuous improvement
Stay current with advancements in AI infrastructure, compilers, frameworks, and distributed systems
Support go-to-market strategies for AI infrastructure and developer-facing products
What You’ll Bring
6+ years of product management experience in AI, cloud platforms, infrastructure, or developer tools
Strong understanding of AI training, inference, and deployment workflows
Experience working with large-scale AI workloads and infrastructure
Solid technical foundation in compilers, AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow, XLA, Triton), and cloud-native systems
Ability to translate customer needs into clear product direction and execution plans
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven track record of shipping successful products in fast-paced environments
Nice to Have
Experience in a high-growth startup environment
Hands-on Python experience
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and cloud-native infrastructure
Experience with GPU architectures and performance optimization
Background in developer tools or infrastructure platforms
Contributions to open-source AI or systems projects
Personal Attributes
Customer-obsessed with a strong focus on developer experience
Self-directed and comfortable operating in ambiguity
Highly collaborative across technical and non-technical teams
Passionate about efficient and sustainable AI systems
Clear and structured communicator of complex technical concepts
Strategic thinker who balances long‑term vision with execution
Compensation & Benefits Compensation is competitive and dependent on experience, location, and level. The role may span multiple career levels and will be calibrated during the interview process.
Benefits may include equity, performance bonuses, medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plans, and wellness benefits.
Equal Opportunity Our client is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on any legally protected characteristic.
AI tools may be used to support parts of the hiring process; final hiring decisions are made by humans.
