American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter – Full Time | Seattle, WA | 2025–2026 School Year

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time ASL Interpreter for the 2025–2026 school year in Seattle, Washington . This is an in‑person position working with a great and supportive school district. If you’re passionate about supporting students who are Deaf or hard of hearing and want to work with a values‑driven, therapist‑founded agency — we’d love to hear from you!

Job Highlights:

Location: Seattle, WA

Position: ASL Interpreter – High School Assignment

Schedule: Full Time, Monday through Friday (late start Wednesdays)

School Year: 2025-2026

In‑person only

Qualifications:

EIPA score of 4.0 or higher and passing the written performance test

EIPA scores of 3.5–3.9 may also be considered

Fingerprinting required prior to start

School‑based experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

Provide direct 1:1 interpretation for a student throughout the school day

Facilitate communication between the student, peers, and staff

Support access to curriculum and social interactions in the classroom

Collaborate with the student’s educational team
