Data Product Manager, Re:Cycle Reverse Logistics — Job ID: 3079831 | re:Cycle Reverse Logistics LLC
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We collaborate with engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other roles to deliver high safety and security standards while providing scalable capacity at low cost. The Operations Integration team seeks a data product manager to enable and continuously improve data captured and extracted from warehouse management and inventory allocation systems that act as the source of truth for financial, environmental, sustainability, regulatory, and operational reporting.
Key responsibilities
Collaborate with data consumers and stakeholders across the organization and service providers to define and drive alignment for new or updated reporting capabilities
Develop supporting documents (e.g., data flow diagrams, sample data files, schemas, business requirement documents) that specify design features and logic, including happy/unhappy path expectations
Prepare positive and negative new feature test scenarios and facilitate acceptance testing, documenting acceptance test KPIs to drive internal metrics
Plan and execute stakeholder training events to ensure successful rollout and adoption
Conduct post-launch validations and refinements to ensure final product accuracy and drive last-mile adoption
Manage ticket queues, prioritization, and tradeoffs for strategic data developments, ensuring stakeholders are synchronized for the next features
Conduct regular data warehouse and organizational reporting research and present findings to identify areas for improvement
Execute data migration or update strategies to transition between reporting solutions
Maintain data warehouse/library resources and policies
About the team Re:Cycle Reverse Logistics offers worldwide cloud providers a means to disassemble, sort, test, in-warranty return, repair/refurbish, erase/wipe, and disposition server and networking assets. The Operations Integration team maintains, improves, and develops new features in warehouse management and inventory allocation systems that monitor assets from arrival to departure across five global facilities, ensuring reliable operational value and safety are supported and reported through joint systems.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications
2+ years of data enablement, data engineering, data management, or related experience in a warehousing, supply chain, manufacturing, or reverse logistics environment
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related, or 4+ additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree
2+ years with one or more query languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL)
2+ years using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience planning and developing end-to-end systems data architecture and/or reporting solutions
Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and/or building ETL pipelines using AWS cloud tools
Experience using data visualization tools (Tableau, QuickSight, etc.) to develop insightful dashboards for stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills to translate complex problems for non-technical audiences
Experience managing a 3rd party vendor

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay ranges from $98,700/year to $210,800/year, with pay based on market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
