THE OPPORTUNITY: The Post Process Supervisor will oversee the manufacturing operations of braze, coating, Wash, laser, packing, shipping and raw material in accordance with company policies and procedures to deliver 98% OTD. With limited supervision, this role will facilitate production requirements throughout the organization, ensuring that Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are achieved. The Supervisor will also be cross trained in multiple departments to assist with manufacturing requirements.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

Oversee all Safety aspects of equipment, facility and operations

Supervise employees and production to ensure that production goals are met or exceeded.

Lead the management and improvement of processes, practices, and personnel including sampling plans, CI activity, and problem solving Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.

Resource planning and scheduling

Prioritization of production to support customer needs

Cycle count programs and inventory accuracy

PPM corrective actions and remediation

Daily balancing of labor hours to manage operational costs

OT assignments

Assist employees in analyzing and resolving problems and escalating when needed.

Supervise employees including but not limited to Wash and Coating, Braze, Packaging, Shipping and Receiving.

Collaborate with plant management to develop resolutions to employee relations issues.

Ensure employees are fully trained for their role.

Conduct employee performance reviews and evaluations

Responsible for employee timecard and PTO administration

Responsible for conducting shift meetings, shift paperwork and production records.

Understand operational metrics and take necessary actions to stay on plan and support on-time delivery

Lead employee development activities to ensure skills and capabilities are aligned with business growth plans and that appropriate career progression opportunities are available and leveraged to enhance engagement and reduce turnover

Instills a continuous improvement mindset and creates an engaging environment where all employees feel comfortable and are encouraged to share feedback.

Other duties as assigned

YOU'LL BRING:

High School Degree or GED required

Associates degree in Machine Tool Technology preferred

Prior relevant experience in a manufacturing environment required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently

Demonstrated ability for attention to detail

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Heightened ability to follow Engineering documents including but not limited to:

Job routers

Process sheets

Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Plant KPI’s

Occasional climbing stairs, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 50 pounds
