PM Telecommunication Technician
XOtech LLC is seeking a highly qualified MCV Telecommunications Technician to serve as Personnel for a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Protective Service (FPS) contract supporting the operation, maintenance, and deployment of Mobile Command Vehicles (MCVs) nationwide. This position is essential to ensuring tactical and operational communications for FPS law enforcement and protective operations.

HS degree required. AA or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact and have full authority to act for XOtech LLC on all contract matters related to daily operations.
Supervise and remotely manage a team of MCV Telecommunications Technicians across multiple U.S. locations.
Oversee and perform routine and emergency maintenance, operation, deployment, and demobilization of MCVs.
Operate and maintain a variety of communications and electronic systems, including land mobile radio, satellite, network, video, and teleconferencing equipment.
Coordinate with FPS Program Manager, Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and other stakeholders to ensure mission readiness and compliance.
Prepare and submit required reports, logs, and documentation in accordance with contract requirements.
Develop and maintain training manuals and provide training to FPS personnel on MCV operations and equipment.
Ensure compliance with all DHS safety, security, and conduct regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma required.
Current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B issued by the state of residence.
At least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
At least six (6) years of experience working with mobile communications systems.
Minimum of four (4) years of documented project management experience.
Demonstrated ability to install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic, satellite, antenna, computer, weather, video recording, video teleconferencing, data network, and video display systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in computer data entry, software updates, and schematic modification/storage.
Ability to respond to emergency deployments and support 24/7/365 operations as required.
Additional Requirements
Must be available during normal duty hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm), with flexibility for mission requirements.
Must be able to travel to various MCV locations as needed.
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a DHS background investigation.
Must maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
