AI/ML Sales Leadership : 15+ years of relevant sales and business development experience in cloud and AI technology with a proven track record of building new AI/ML businesses and driving adoption of innovative AI technologies at scale. Demonstrated passion and excitement for AI opportunities with deep understanding of how generative AI technologies transform business operations and create competitive advantage.
Strategic Sales Execution & Revenue Impact : Accomplished B2B sales leader with experience managing complex customer and partner relationships while building scalable sales organizations. Track record of implementing enterprise‑wide AI initiatives, exceeding revenue targets, and driving measurable business outcomes through strategic vision, cross‑functional partnership, and relentless customer focus.
Technical Acumen & Executive Engagement : Technical background with exceptional communication skills to articulate the business value of GenAI solutions to both business and technical audiences. Proven ability to build executive relationships, public speaking and media presence, with experience in enterprise software sales cycles and change management.
This role requires a leader who embodies Amazon's Leadership Principles at the Director level, with particular emphasis on Think Big, Customer Obsession, and Deliver Results. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage ambiguity in a rapidly evolving AI landscape, lead through others by building and empowering high‑performing sales teams, and exhibit strategic thinking that balances short‑term execution with long‑term vision. Basic Qualifications
15+ years of relevant sales and business development experience in cloud and AI technology.
Global experience leading large, diverse sales teams.
Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML technologies and sales.
Track record of building executive relationships and exceeding revenue targets.
BA/BS degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling and implementing enterprise‑wide AI initiatives.
Deep understanding of generative AI products and services.
Technical background in computer science or related field.
Proven public speaking and media presence.

Compensation The base pay for this position ranges from $224,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $333,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon may also provide equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
