A premium performance and lifestyle apparel brand is seeking a
Freelance
Women’s Technical Designer
to support product execution across multiple seasons. This role will work closely with the Senior Technical Designer and partner cross‑functionally with Merchandising, Design, and Product Development/Production teams to ensure fit, construction, and quality standards are met across women’s and select men’s categories.
What You’ll Do
Partner with Merchandising, Design, and Product Development to ensure accuracy and quality in new styles
Create and update tech packs including measurements, construction details, and grading using Illustrator, Excel, and PLM tools
Own styles from initial design handoff through production, reviewing Proto, PP, and PPS samples
Measure garments, lead and assist fittings, and send detailed fit comments to overseas vendors
Troubleshoot fit, construction, and quality issues in a fast‑paced environment
Communicate potential risks impacting fit approvals, quality, or delivery timelines
Track and organize Proto through PPS samples while maintaining accurate style history
Collaborate with overseas suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently
Support multiple projects independently with minimal ramp‑up
Open to occasional travel to overseas suppliers
What We’re Looking For
7–10 years of Technical Design experience
Women’s activewear or lifestyle apparel experience preferred Accepted file types: doc, docx, pdf, txt, Max. file size: 10 MB.
