The

Senior Plan Consultant

serves as a resource for matters related to ERISA compliance, plandesignand governmental reporting. This person is the single point of contact for employer, financialprofessionand plan sponsor for their accounts. The Senior Plan Consultant will be critical member of the vertical leadership team and activelyparticipateinthe marketing,networkingand business development within an area of expertise and specialization whilemaintainingclient relationships and acting as the primary contact for complex questions.

Responsibilities

Act as a mentor to Plan Coordinators, collaborating to meet or exceed defined businessobjectives, firmgoalsand client obligations, as applicable.

Assistclients in meeting all IRD and Department of Labor deadlines necessary for qualified retirement plan

Assistclients with Service and IRD Plan terminations

Maintain up-to dateknowledge of present legislation and proposed legislative changeswith regard toERISA law through self-study and company-sponsored training sessions

Complete/Assist with payroll processing as required by the products assigned

Responsible for all aspects of valuation reports, participantstatementsand annual testing

Review or perform, as needed, the annual testing for plans, including ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, 401(b), 415, 401(a)(4), deductibility, and 402(g)

Work with assigned coordinator(s) to provide compliant andaccuratevaluation reports, participantstatements, trust accounting, annual testing and reporting as applicable

Review distribution paperwork and coordinate processing of distributions with asset holder

Review loan paperwork and coordinate processing of loans with asset holder

Review or prepares Form 5500 and coordinate with plan sponsor to help ensuretimelyfiling

Assistauditors if a plan is subject to an audit

Assist IRD and DOLauditors, if the plan is subject to an IRS or DOL audit

Coordinate with all applicable parties, both internal and external, to ensureaccurateconversion process for new clients (including but not limited to actuaries, financial advisors, attorneys)

Assistclients with allinitialand ongoing plan design and document support, including understanding their responsibilities with IRS and Department of Labor regulations

Supervises, trains, and managesworkloadof Coordinators and Consultants on all projects

Reviewswork prepared by Coordinators and Consultants and provide review comments

Assistwith other tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’sin accounting or equivalentrequired

5+ years of ERISA experience in the retirement industry

Qualified retirement plan credentialrequired(ASPPA)

Team-Oriented

Ability to act as a mentor, collaborating to meet or exceed defined businessobjectives, firmgoalsand client obligations, as applicable

Ability to effectively plan and assign work and supervise support staff

Ability to effectively manage multiple referral relationships between business partners (internal and external)
