About Our Client Addison Group is partnering with our client to identify an HR Assistant to support day-to-day human resources operations. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented HR professional who enjoys working across multiple HR functions in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description The HR Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team, assisting with recruiting coordination, onboarding, employee documentation, compliance tracking, and internal HR initiatives. This role plays a key part in ensuring HR processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support throughout the recruitment lifecycle, including scheduling and coordination
Assist with new hire onboarding activities, ensuring documentation and processes are completed accurately and on time
Initiate, monitor, and track background screening results and relay updates as needed
Support offboarding processes by managing required documentation and compliance steps
Respond to employee questions and requests with professionalism and discretion
Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential employee records
Update HR systems, spreadsheets, and internal databases with a high level of accuracy
Track employee time-off balances, including PTO, vacation, and sick leave
Assist with calculating and processing vacation or leave payouts when applicable
Provide administrative support during benefits enrollment periods
Maintain training files and records to ensure compliance and accuracy
Assist with scheduling and coordinating training programs and performance review activities
Communicate with leadership regarding training schedules and development initiatives
Review HR documentation and training records for completeness and compliance
Support internal HR audits, reporting, and data collection efforts
Prepare and generate routine HR reports as requested
Assist with HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, and morale-building activities
Provide backup reception or general administrative support as needed
Perform additional duties to support overall office and HR operations
Qualifications
3–4 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Excellent communication and time-management skills
