As a lead engineer, you will manage private and public development projects from initial concept through construction completion. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, developers, and architects, ensuring that engineering solutions are seamlessly integrated into the project vision. Design Leadership:
Oversee comprehensive site planning, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, paving, utilities, and parking layouts. Project Management:
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources while proactively identifying risks to keep developments on track. Regulatory Navigation:
Prepare and review construction documents, plats, and zoning packages; coordinate with municipalities and utility providers to secure permits and entitlements. Consultative Support:
Conduct site feasibility studies, due diligence reviews, and preliminary cost estimates to guide client decision-making. Mentorship:
Support and mentor junior staff in technical design and project management, fostering a culture of internal growth. Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong technical foundation and the communication skills necessary to navigate complex stakeholder environments. The ideal candidate thrives in a focused, in-office environment where collaboration happens in real time. Licensure:
Valid/active State of Oklahoma Professional Engineer (PE) license (or another state with eligibility for reciprocity). Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university. Technical Experience:
4+ years of experience in civil site and land development design specifically for private projects (commercial, residential, industrial, or mixed-use). Software Proficiency:
Advanced skills in
AutoCAD Civil 3D
and Microsoft Office Suite. Communication:
