IR Service Line Highlights:
Team : 6 Interventional Radiologists, 8 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Call Schedule : 1:6 for interventional radiologists.
APP Support : APPs perform IR light procedures during the week (paras/thoras, LP, myelogram, arthrogram, CT/US drainages, CT/US biopsies, etc), manage IR clinics for consultations and follow‑ups, and round on all IR patients/consults.
IR Shifts : No diagnostic call or worklist requirements during IR shifts. Extra income available by reading diagnostic studies while on IR shift or at any time after hours on a very long list of cases that you choose to read. Expect to do 70% IR.
Services Provided:
Venous Disease : Acute (DVT, SVC syndrome etc) and chronic iliofemoral occlusions (iliofemoral reconstructions).
Embolization : Trauma, GIB, UFE, PAE, GAE, varicocele embolization, pelvic congestion.
Thrombectomy & Lysis : PE and DVT.
IVC Filter : Placement, removal including complex laser/forcep removals.
Spinal Procedures : Vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, sacroplasty, and osteocool (RFA).
TIPS : Placement & revision.
Dialysis : Endovascular fistula creation, fistula interventions, dialysis access.
PAD & Vascular Disease : EVAR, mesenteric arterial disease, peripheral arterial interventions.
Interventional Oncology Chest ports, Y‑90 radioembolization, chemoembolization, and ablations. New/additional service lines: Always open to new service lines. If there is a procedure you would like to build, you will have the support and ability to pursue it.
Compensation & Benefits:
IR Compensation : $700,000 + with $5,000.00/month stipend if you’re a fellow in practice.
One‑Year to Partnership : Partner compensation can exceed $1,000,000+ with bonuses.
Moving Allowance : $10,000.
Paid Vacation : 10 weeks (12 weeks for partners).
Additional Income : Boost income by reading diagnostic studies after hours (paid per study, same compensation as partners).
