The
Boiler Service Technician
is responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial and industrial boilers, burners, and associated systems. This role demands both technical expertise and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Troubleshoot and service light commercial to large industrial watertube and firetube boilers.
Perform combustion setup, analysis, and adjustments on burners ranging from 0.5 to 30 million BTU/HR.
Diagnose and repair industrial burners and combustion systems.
Conduct internal and external inspections of boilers and associated control systems.
Replace and repair gaskets, valves, and various boiler components.
Evaluate steam and hydronic systems to identify issues and propose solutions.
Work with boiler support equipment including deaerators, feedwater systems, economizers, and blowdown systems.
Install, troubleshoot, and calibrate instrumentation such as thermocouples, loop controllers, transmitters, and other process controls.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Perform additional responsibilities as requested.
