Job Description: CNC Machinist - Niles, MI

Shifts Available
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 1:00 AM
3rd Shift: Flexible
Hours: Expect
45–50 hours/week
Starting Pay Range
$25–$35/hr.+ (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Perform CNC machining operations on lathes, grinders, or Swiss machines
Run set-ups (typically
1 setup per week )
Make
G & M code edits
as needed
Perform dimensional inspection using micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.
Read and interpret precision aerospace-level blueprints
Maintain extremely tight tolerances and quality standards
Work within a clean, climate-controlled, high-performance environment
Communicate clearly with leadership; ask questions, engage, and problem-solve
What You DON’T Need to Do
No programming
No need to get into machine controls beyond edits
No complex multi-setup daily changes
Required Experience Candidates must have:
3+ years of experience
in one or more of the following:
CNC Lathe
Grinding
Swiss machining (always considered)
Strong inspection and measurement ability
Ability to hold extremely tight tolerances
Solid blueprint reading skills
Mechanical aptitude and high accountability
Desire to work in a disciplined, high-standards manufacturing culture
Preferred Industry Backgrounds
