Job Summary Operates equipment and performs tasks to complete windings and winding components in electrical motors. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
Checks process sheets for spans, proper coil groups, insulation class, etc.
Sets up equipment to proper specifications, using correct tooling
Makes general decisions as to quality of product and adjusts as necessary
Ensures proper materials, assembly techniques, and tolerances are met
Exercises good housekeeping in work area
Observes good safety practices in performance of job
Performs other job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
Necessary Skills
Must be able to read and write, and follow written BOM's
Must have the ability to plan and perform a sequence of operations where standard operational methods are available
