Basic Requirements

14+ years of Systems Engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope, complexity, and mission

Proven ability to plan, lead, and execute Systems Engineering efforts

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field

(An additional 5 years of Systems Engineering experience may substitute for a degree)

Active TS/SCI with polygraph required

Strong Lean-Agile and SAFe framework expertise

Demonstrated servant leadership with the ability to influence and coach without formal authority

Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills

Highly developed analytical and problem‑solving capabilities

Solid understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture principles

We’re looking for a driven Scrum Master / Systems Engineer who thrives at the intersection of agile leadership and hands‑on technical excellence. Based in Annapolis Junction, MD, this hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to shape how high‑performing engineering teams deliver meaningful, mission‑critical solutions.

As a leader and coach, you’ll guide multiple Agile teams within an Agile Release Train (ART), helping them embrace Scrum and Agile best practices while continuously improving how they work. You won’t just facilitate process—you’ll actively contribute your engineering insight to help teams navigate complex technical challenges and design efficient, scalable system solutions.

What You’ll Do

Lead and coach multiple Agile teams, ensuring strong adoption of Scrum and Agile principles

Facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including team events and Scrum of Scrums

Remove impediments and proactively identify risks that could impact delivery

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and technical craftsmanship

Partner closely with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to align team execution with broader program objectives

Apply your technical background to support sound design decisions and high‑quality development practices
