Position Overview We are seeking a Mobile Development Team Lead / Architect to lead the delivery and technical direction for a large team and customer-facing mobile application. This role combines mobile architecture leadership with delivery management, mentoring, and close collaboration with offshore development teams. The ideal candidate has strong React Native expertise, experience working across iOS and Android, and a proven ability to lead globally distributed teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as the technical and delivery lead for large mobile applications, currently undergoing a re-platform to

React Native .

Lead and coordinate work across a blended team of onshore and offshore developers and vendors.

Partner closely with Product, Engineering, UI/UX, Salesforce, and API teams to drive successful releases.

Oversee maintenance of the existing platform while supporting new feature releases and re-platforming efforts.

Review code, guide architectural decisions, and collaborate with the Mobile Architect to ensure scalable, high-quality solutions.

Identify and mitigate performance risks, including latency, outages, and mobile bottlenecks.

Provide leadership, mentoring, and delivery oversight (approx.

80% leadership / 20% hands‑on development ).

Participate in early‑morning meetings to align with offshore teams (India-based).

Required Experience & Skills

Proven experience as a

Mobile Architect and/or Mobile Team Lead .

Strong hands‑on experience with

React Native

and modern mobile UI/UX practices.

Experience supporting iOS and Android applications at scale.

Ability to review C# MAUI code and translate business requirements during migration to React Native.

Demonstrated success leading

offshore development teams and vendors .

Strong understanding of mobile performance, scalability, and future‑state forecasting.

Experience in

e‑commerce or financial services

environments (lease‑to‑own experience a plus).

Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Bachelor’s degree required.

Technical Requirement

React Native (primary)

JavaScript / TypeScript

iOS and Android mobile development

C# MAUI (reading and understanding code for migration purposes)

CI/CD with frequent mobile releases (bi‑weekly cadence)

Testing: unit, integration, smoke, UAT, and end‑to‑end
