Join the Valley Forge Enterprise Planning team! We seek a level 3 detail‑oriented Production Planner to join our team. This business‑critical role engages cross‑functionally with Manufacturing Program Managers, Shop Management, and other teams to facilitate the successful execution of program requirements. You will review production schedules, coordinate demand load and procurement processes, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional team members to achieve operational excellence. The role requires proficiency in SAP, Excel, Tableau and other manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

Work with key stakeholders for assigned scope to ensure prerequisite parts, materials, work instructions, etc. are available prior to scheduled start in production.

Support release process for “make” assembly requirements and firm plans in SAP as needed, working closely with Manufacturing Program Managers and Enterprise Planning colleagues.

Routinely provide detailed status and support for assigned scope.

Maintain data integrity within the SAP MRP system to ensure adherence to metric requirements.

Take an active role in continuously improving planning methods, processes, and tools.

Basic Qualifications

Experience working within an ERP/MRP system.

Planning/scheduling experience in a manufacturing setting.

Above‑average Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, graph creation, managing large data sets).

Must be able to perform occasional weekend work as/if required.

Must be a U.S. citizen for consideration and be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.

Desired Skills

Preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in Planning/Scheduling or Production (Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Program/Project Management, etc).

Active Top Secret clearance.

Experience using SAP as a production ERP/MRP system.

SAP subject matter expert.

Experience using Microsoft Project, SAP and/or Open Plan to create or manage manufacturing schedules.

Tableau/tool management.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.

Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and cultivate change.

Demonstrated experience communicating/briefing executives, leaders, and customers.

Demonstrated experience with end‑to‑end lifecycle of planning and schedule management in support of program scope capture, implementation and execution.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full‑time – The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off.
