Job Description
Insight Global is looking for Data Center Technician level 1 to support a clients data center operations local to San Antonio. The Data Center Technician is responsible for supporting various aspects of the CPS Energy data center ecosystem with an integrated focus on providing resiliency, redundancy and high availability of critical infrastructure supporting core operations. This person will also be responsible for the decommissioning of hard drives, deployments, break fixing and heavy cabling work.
This position will work collaboratively within internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to ensure data center operations are aligned with defined requirements. This position requires maximum 5% travel to Houston, Corpus Christi and Laredo. Travel will be compensated.

Skills and Requirements
2+ years of cabeling and deployment experience within a data center
Completion of one of the following certifications: Network+, Server+, CompTIA
High School Diploma or GED
Reliable form of transportation (ability to drive to Houston, Corpus Christi and Laredo)
Bachelors Degree
5 or more years experience working in a data center
