Social Worker - Full-Time
Metropolitan Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility)
Metropolitan Behavioral Hospital is a 144-bed behavioral health facility that provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs for adolescents, adults, and older adults. The facility offers 24‑hour behavioral health assessments and programs for co‑occurring behavioral health and substance use issues. An outpatient program is also available, utilizing group, family, and individual therapy.

The Social Worker performs social services functions such as assisting patients in meeting their bio‑psychosocial needs while enabling them to access therapeutic treatment skills to achieve optimal emotional health. Duties include basic consultation, teaching, specialized clinical social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short‑term and long‑term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.

Qualifications
Education: MSW only
License: LMSW required or LLMSW considered for experienced candidates
Experience: At least 1–3 years in a psychiatric health care facility with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; strong clinical assessment skills required. Combination of education, licensure, and experience and/or student internship hours may be considered.
Full‑time position includes weekend and holiday coverage.
