Position Summary This student would be responsible for planting crops, operating equipment for field prep, harvesting, processing crops, watering and fertilizing crops, building and repairing irrigation systems, scouting for insects and diseases, and spraying organically approved pesticides when necessary. In addition to these tasks, this student worker will work on various farm related jobs with farm staff as needed. Some prior experience growing vegetables is required as well as the ability to work with other students on the assigned tasks. This position is not located on campus.

Prior experience growing vegetables is required

Physical Demands Lift 50 pounds and work in inclement weather as needed (i.e. rain, snow, heat, cold, etc…). Driving.
