The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) is hiring an
Event Education Programs Coordinator
to support our trade shows. We are looking to connect with driven professionals who would enjoy variety and challenge within our Community & Insights team. This position will leverage effective relationship building to manage accounts and serve as a point of contact for trade show speakers and attendees. This role is integral to the Exhibitions team, focusing on the strategic execution of education programs for trade shows and our weekly newsletter.
Responsibilities
Set up speaker databases, populating and editing content.
Assist event speakers with database portal setup and deliverables.
Coordinate speaker communications, ensuring organized, accurate, and engaging information is received.
Process speaker expenses and reimbursement.
Serve as a point of contact for speakers, providing support throughout the program lifecycle.
Support a variety of logistics, including food and beverage, room sets, audio visual, and signage.
Assist in the evaluation process setup, tabulation, distribution, and reporting.
Ensure content accuracy across multiple platforms, including websites, mobile apps, marketing pieces and social media posts.
Assist with speaker presentations and handout reviews.
Review and select content for weekly online newsletter.
Ensure newsletter content aligns with target audience.
Actively work to understand the industry and stay abreast of emerging issues and trends.
Assist the Community & Insights team in identifying training topics and content of interest to target audiences.
Requirements
Associate’s degree in a related field.
1-3 years of relevant experience.
Experience working within CRM and utilizing event technology platforms.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability across various tasks and priorities.
Ability to utilize diverse data sources and media to inform and enhance educational content.
Experience in effectively communicating and collaborating with various departments to achieve program goals.
Proactive approach to learning and problem-solving, with a passion for supporting and enhancing educational programs.
Ability to analyze feedback and performance.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Experience with event planning and trade shows preferred.
Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time, including some nights & weekends.
