JR100024**Scheduling Receptionist****POSITION SUMMARY:**Under the supervision of the Scheduling Manager, the PACE Southeast Michigan (PACE SEMI) Scheduling Receptionist will support the scheduling team at our Corporate location. This role will initiate automatic reminder calls 48 hours ahead of all external appointments and will make confirmation calls to participants when appointments are first scheduled and document all calls in the PACE EMR system.**SPECIFIC DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:*** Handles all data to be entered into the automatic reminder for 48 hour reminder calls* Makes outgoing calls to participants to notify them of future appointments. Phone calls will be a large role for this position* Document all calls in the PACE EMR system* Integrate appointments onto GrandPad user schedules as available* Help with checking scheduling voicemails as needed* Manages call volume and opens and closes conversations appropriately.* Records messages thoroughly, accurately and legibly and initials messages.* Other duties as assigned**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:*** Requires a level of knowledge that is normally associated by completion of high school or equivalency.* Have knowledge, skills and competencies to work effectively with populations of diverse background and a variety of ages.* Requires the ability to function in a multi-task environment.* Must be self-directed, flexible and committed to the team concept.* Must demonstrate teamwork, initiative and willingness to learn.* Must possess interpersonal and communication skills.* Requires basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows programs such as Word and Excel and comfortable using a computer.* Must be willing to instruct others and be open to new learning experiences.**WORKING CONDITIONS:*** Works in a clinical office setting with some exposure to communicable disease.At PACE Southeast Michgan our employee experience is a combination of everything that’s unique about our culture, mission, vision, values, and most importantly, our people.
