We are searching for a
Front Office Specialist I at TCP Conroe
- someone to coordinate and perform the scheduling of patients, receive and greet visitors, answer and handle incoming calls, coordinate the referral process, enter accurate billing information into system and transmit accurate claims.

Qualifications:
HS diploma or GED
1-year related experience in an office like setting
Demonstrates SMILES and AIDET philosophies to patients, families and coworkers
Acknowledges the customer
Identifies self
Keeps customers informed by explaining all tasks, processes and procedures
Thanks, the customer
Adheres to Standards of Behavior
Tasks are measured by observation of evaluator
Responsibilities
Greets patients and visitors upon arrival utilizing Creating SMILES philosophies and AIDET principles.
Assists patients with check in/check out.
Schedule appointments
Verifies accurate patient demographic information with each visit
Enters data into electronic health record and electronic billing system
Answers telephone within three (3) rings and directs calls per practice protocol.
Enters hospital charges into electronic billing system with 100% accuracy and within timelines established
Balances payments received daily.
Documents eligibility in the electronic health record per practice protocol.
Identifies and documents network providers for appropriate referral.
Notifies provider when no provider in network is available.
Completes paperwork and documentation for authorized referrals within two (2) business days.
Enters referrals into electronic health record within two (2) business days of receiving request from provider.
Assists patients, per practice protocol, in setting appointments for referred services.
Assists patients, per practice protocol, who have emergencies or have self-referred without prior authorization
