Essential Functions
The following duties are normal for this position. Other duties may be required and assigned Conducts random physical inventory count; verifies and adjusts inventory records, as needed; performs inventory test counts, sight inventory, and low stock checks and adjustments; handles surplus inventory; resolves inventory variance reports; and assigns inventory numbers to materials. Responds to after-hour calls; readies equipment needed at job site; and provides emergency parts and supplies. Processes inventory at receiving; receives materials, equipment, and supplies; verifies shipping and packing lists; performs accurate count of incoming materials; runs receiving report; and performs basic data entry. Maintains low stock; ensures proper shelving of inventory; updates stocking levels; maintains inventory locations; ensures proper inventory labeling; records inventory outs; and communicates with office personnel. Issues parts, tools, supplies, orders, or other items; fills work orders for parts/supplies from inventory; pulls stock to fill work orders; reviews work orders to ensure accuracy and closes out completed work orders; maintains logs/records of all materials checked out or issued; researches requested items not in inventory; and maintains housekeeping of warehouse daily Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; one year of experience in a warehouse, stockroom, inventory control, or a related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job Specific License or Certification Required
Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license. Salary Grade: 7
Salary Range: $17.68/hour-$25.42/hour
