Onsite This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the GM Defense Production Facility on a full-time basis (shift is four (4) 10's, Monday-Thursday)

The Role Executes deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives. Guides one of the key areas within the Global Supply Chain to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product and financial initiatives.

Position communicates to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions and suppliers. Position is responsible for supporting relationship management with logistic suppliers and service providers.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

Ensures that all Material Master data is correct

Coordinates material flow activity

Supports BPD / Scorecard achievement

Supports PFCM (Plant floor Change Management)

Responsible for end of model obsolescence

Coordinates disposal of obsolete material

Supports COGI investigation and resolution (Controlling Goods Issued Error)

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

3+ years of in-depth experience with SAP or MGO systems.

3+ years of in-depth experience with Excel (data entry & storage, calculation, data visualization, forecasting, financial modeling, project management, inventory tracking, automation, etc.).

Ability to work over-time, weekends, holidays, etc. as needed.

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments.

Analytical skills with a passion for continuous improvement opportunities.

Self-motivated with the ability to seek out answers to challenging system related problems.

High level of communication skills, planning, and organizational ability.

What Can Give You a Competitive Advantage (Preferred Qualifications)

Knowledge of GM Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS)

Cross functional background in manufacturing, engineering
