The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, diagnosing mechanical
problems, and repairing and rebuilding equipment on or offsite. The Mechanic must provide their own tools.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Electrical diagnostics and repairs* Diagnose and repair mechanical problems* Wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs* Perform all aspects of both tractor and trailer repairs.* Maintain completed paperwork on equipment.* Charging system diagnostics and repairs* Basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacementREQUIREMENTS:* Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some nights, weekends or holidays.* Ability to be on-call.* Possess a valid driver’s license.* Capability to lift a minimum of 80 pounds, working in close quarters* Always put the safety and satisfaction of our drivers first, complying with company safety policies &* procedures.* Basis welding skills* Intermediate knowledge of computers* Intermediate knowledge of hand tools/power tools.* Ability to travel to offsite locations for repair.* ASE certification is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
