The Knight-Georgetown Institute (KGI) is hiring an Operations Manager to support the day-to-day operations of three interdisciplinary centers at Georgetown University: KGI, the Center for Digital Ethics (CDE), and the Institute for Technology Law & Policy (ITLP).
This hybrid, Washington, D.C.-based role plays a central part in ensuring smooth operations and overseeing administrative, financial, and event support across the centers. The Operations Manager will support a broad range of functions, including:
Overseeing operational and administrative functions
Managing budgeting, reconciliation of expenses, procurement, and contracts
Supporting people operations, including hiring and onboarding
Planning and managing logistics for events, meetings, travel, and retreats
Supporting the facilitation of internal and external communications
This is an exciting position for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who enjoys building structure, managing complexity, and collaborating across teams.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who has experience with event and/or organizational budgeting and can flex their skills across a wide range of operational and administrative responsibilities.
