Machine Operator Responsibilities
Operate various sizes of injection molding machines after set-ups are made by others
Position inserts, cycle presses, remove molded parts, and clear knock-out pins to ensure proper action
Inspect molded parts for fill-out, color surface blemishes, finish, and dimension
Trim, wrap, and package molded parts as well as counting rejects
Sit or stand next to the machine while product is molded
Pull finished product out of machine throughout the shift
Keep track of products by counting, packaging product
Machine Operator Requirements
Able to lift up to 30 lbs
Able to read and write English
Able to accurately count parts, distinguish subtle color shifts
Good hand-eye coordination
Manufacturing experience preferred
