Machine Operator
Wage:
$20.00/hour
Shift:
1st, 2nd or 3rd
Hours:
7:00am - 3:00pm, 3:00pm - 11:00pm or 11:00pm - 7:00am

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Machine Operator at a company in Richfield, WI. This is a potential to hire position available across all shifts. Apply today!
Machine Operator Responsibilities:
Set up folding and gluing operations of the machine in accordance with proper setup techniques
Minimize waste of sheet stock and glue
Operate machine to run efficiently and produce quality products
Ensure diagonal and corrugator scores are broken when necessary
Maximize utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed
Assist in training all post‑job positions
Learn to run a variety of box styles
Check quality of boxes during the run, including mis‑slotted boxes, loose liner, misprints and any other defects
Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data and Quality Data
Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs; be proactive in the maintenance of equipment
Adhere to production schedule
Make recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals
Comply with company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping
Requirements for Machine Operator:
High School Diploma or GED; one year of minimum relevant experience preferred
Previous experience in the corrugated industry preferred
At least six months of experience in Press and Finishing department
Able to stand for entire shift
Able to lift 50lbs throughout day
