Role Snapshot

Shift: 3rd Shift, Monday–Friday, 8:30 pm–5:00 am (rotating Saturdays)

Training: First 30 days on 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 4:30 am–1:00 pm (rotating Saturdays)

Pay: $30.00–$33.00 hourly + $1.00 shift differential for hours worked after 1st shift; compensation negotiable based on experience and skills

What You’ll Do

Own root‑cause troubleshooting and repair within your assigned area with minimal supervision

Diagnose and tune pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Service high‑speed bottling and filling equipment and gantry palletizers

Apply mechanics, fitting, plumbing, basic welding, metal fabrication, machining, and analytical problem‑solving to resolve breakdowns

Deliver quick, customer‑focused responses to equipment issues

Execute electrical tasks: connections, relays, photo‑eyes, solenoids; motors and VFD diagnostics/wiring; safely handle 120 v–480 v; read schematics and use a multimeter

Complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections

Install/modify/repair/troubleshoot conveyors: roller, belt, Intralox, gravity, and chain plate

Rebuild and replace diverse pump types

Use a CMMS to log emergency and planned work; communicate findings/actions

Improve and maintain equipment across processing & packaging; set up, tear down, and relocate equipment

Reconfigure packaging/process machinery for new product runs

Operate shop tools: grinders, saws, presses, lathes, and mills

Work to Health & Safety and GMP standards; wear a full‑face respirator when needed

Must‑Have Qualifications

2+ years in high‑speed packaging and/or manufacturing maintenance (food industry preferred)

High School Diploma or GED; effective communicator

Proven performance in a manufacturing environment

Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills

Excellent organization and time management; agile with shifting priorities

Physical & Environmental

Lifting/carrying up to 45 lbs.; occasional 20–50 lbs. force (≤ 1/3 of time)

Frequent 10–25 lbs. force (1/3–2/3 of time) and regular handling up to 10 lbs. (≥ 2/3 of shift)

Activities include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, and handling

Ability to visually inspect parts and hear alarms/equipment signals, with or without accommodation

Work in both temperature‑controlled and non‑controlled areas; potential exposure to high noise
