Position Description FLSA Status: Exempt Salary Range: $89,000-$125,000 Reports To: Director, Workforce Operations Direct Reports: Yes Location: Onsite at Client Sites Travel: Up to 80% Work Type: Regular Schedule: Full Time

Client Relationships

Oversee and manage the COPE Health Scholars Programs at multiple client sites (7‑8) across geographic regions

Monitor and support the achievement of performance metrics for assigned clients

Manage direct reports, identify areas of opportunities and support them with meeting role milestones

Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses on program metrics to effectively report service line impact to clients; build off of positive metrics to offer additional solutions to capitalize on client success

Build and manage relationships with key hospital client’s to ensure ongoing engagement, success and retention of current programs and secure future growth opportunities

Engage with COPE Health Solutions Account Principal and other team members to identify and pursue opportunities to add value to client through current program scope expansion, program customization, value‑based payment, population health management, or other services offered by our firm

Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of account reports per service line and site‑specific cadence

Program Operations

With a deep understanding of current operations and processes, develop and drive initiatives to improve program operations, recruitment, training, and client reporting

Drive the development and implementation of value‑add metrics and special projects, and support program manager with operationalizing client‑specific requests

Support program manager in managing operations and directing student leadership support team

Manage academic partnerships within assigned region(s), build relationships with college professors and other university staff. Attend conferences and workforce development meetings to support recruitment strategies as appropriate

Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations, client site‑specific policies and ethical standards

Mitigate risk by responding to complaints or concerns from clients, hospital staff and/or program participants. Concerns may range from HIPAA, compliance, background checks, policy violations and more. Elevate high‑risk complaints or concerns to executive leadership, demonstrating sound judgement in all cases

Assist with the development of account/site budgets. Ensure financial reports are aligned with budget projections and identify variances with service line leadership and firm finance team

Attend events focused on relevant health care industry updates to identify challenges and business development opportunities within the service line and communicate opportunities for consulting engagements

Internal Responsibilities

Drive internal projects and operations for the COPE Health Scholar Service Line, including tools to streamline program operations, vendor relations, information technology, business development, finance, and other projects as assigned

Oversee daily responsibilities for direct reports and serve as a key resource for program questions and concerns. Identify areas and assist in Program Manager ongoing training and professional development

Take ownership of retention and growth for Program Managers under your supervision; demonstrate strong leadership skills in guiding and growing team, and building strong relationships with team

Assist in the development of proposals, contracts, business development pitches and all deliverables related to the service line. Ensure all proposed contracts and renewals are profitable and aligned with the firm’s strategic goals

Support firm‑wide business development through activities such as writing articles, speaking at industry events and building industry relationships and connections through networking

Support firm’s strategic goals by leading divisional balanced scorecard process and associated internal initiatives

Assist with driving business development efforts to grow and expand COPE Health Solutions workforce programs across the nation and lead new client site implementation as needed

Ensure proper staffing across all client accounts, aiding in the recruitment process and training all staff to develop and identify sources of talent for our open roles

Assist with providing temporary operational coverage for client sites within your region that are experiencing staffing gaps

Display sound judgement, professionalism, and strong conflict‑resolution skills

Ensure all products presented are of professional quality

Carry out all other responsibilities, tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 3‑5 years of management experience. Master’s degree preferred

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate high performing teams to deliver contract metrics to meet client contractual expectations

Passion for student teaching, mentoring and professional development

Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

Experience reporting to executive level management

Flexible with work hours, and able to work outside of standard workweek hours, including nights and weekends

Ability to travel locally to each site approximately once per week

Ability to travel between Northern and Central California regularly, with occasional travel to our corporate office in downtown Los Angeles as needed

Excellent project management skills

Strong data analytic skills

Ability to work effectively on multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)

Familiarity with CRM Software preferred
