In this crucial role, you’ll work collaboratively with the Lifestyle Director to foster resident and community partnerships and facilitate connections through events, programming and communications. What you’ll accomplish

Assist in the planning, promoting and executing of a comprehensive community event and programming calendar for residents Engage in content creation for community communications – website, newsletters, promotional materials, social media accounts, etc. Support the operations of the amenity center Welcome and assist with new resident experience Provide support for club and group management Administrative duties including vendor management, payment processing, and supporting overall community communications What we’re looking for

1-2 years of professional experience in event planning, recreation programming, public relations or other related experience 2 years of professional experience with creating and managing communications A Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in recreation, communications, journalism or community development from an accredited college or university is preferred This is not an 8-5, Monday-Friday desk job. Qualified candidates must be able to work full-time hours that are flexible and will include some nights, weekends and holidays Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and able to work effectively with a resident board and committee members, as well as volunteers All prospective employees must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check If driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required, at all times, that you hold a valid state driver’s license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits. You must notify Human Resources immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing. CCMC may periodically review motor vehicle reports to ensure compliance with these requirements. The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include: Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions. Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds. Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events. Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices. Driving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions. (Please note: We will request and review an MVR at the time of hire and on a periodic basis thereafter to ensure that employees maintain a satisfactory driving status.)
