Machinist

A well-established precision manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Machinist to support ongoing production needs. This role is ideal for a hands‑on CNC professional who can work independently, interpret complex drawings, and produce high‑quality parts with minimal supervision.

What You’ll Do

Set up and operate 4‑axis and/or 5‑axis CNC milling machines

Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

Apply GD&T principles to ensure parts meet tolerance and quality standards

Perform in‑process inspections and basic quality checks

Make minor edits to CNC programs as needed

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Contribute immediately to production with minimal training

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience operating 4‑axis and/or 5‑axis CNC mills

Strong understanding of CNC G‑code and the ability to make program adjustments

Experience with tooling identification, setup, and presetting

Ability to read and interpret detailed mechanical drawings

Solid knowledge of GD&T

High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Experience

Background in precision machining or regulated manufacturing environments

Experience producing tight‑tolerance components

Ability to hit the ground running in a fast‑paced shop setting
