KidTherapy is looking for a physical therapist who loves working with children and teenagers. You'll work with clients facing mobility challenges for a variety of reasons and develop personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities
Create treatment strategies using a range of therapeutic methods for each patient
Obtain advice from and work together with other healthcare professionals
Analyze and draw conclusions based on data collected from the patient's tests and examinations
Ask patients about their physical status, including any injuries or mobility concerns
Use physical therapy on patients to reduce pain and improve mobility as advised by doctor
Qualifications
Must be a licensed physical therapist in the state of TX
Successful candidates will need strong analytical, communication, and observational skills
This position requires a bachelor’s degree or higher and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
Current state licensure in the state you practice
Passage of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) is required for this position
We prefer candidates with some previous experience working directly with patients in a healthcare setting
Compensation $85,000 - $95,000 yearly
About Kidtherapy Kidtherapy is a multidisciplinary outpatient pediatric clinic that is therapist-owned and managed. We do only clinic-based services and a small amount of teletherapy. KidTherapy's pediatric therapy facility has over 4,000 square feet of fully equipped space. We offer two sensory gyms, an orthopedic gym, and four private treatment rooms.
It is the mission of KidTherapy to provide the highest quality integrated therapeutic services through individualized, compassionate, reliable, and professional treatment specifically tailored to best fit each patient and their family's specific needs and goals.
