Job Description
The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT will ensure that the evaluation of Radiology procedures, equipment, and staff are administered in a manner that is accurate, timely, responsive, and reliable. The position serves a variety of customers, including employees, Medical Staff, patients, and regulatory agencies, with a strong focus on activities that directly affect customer service. Responsibilities
Maintain confidentiality of patients and hospital information. Comply with all hospital policies and procedures pertaining to incident reporting. Perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians. Demonstrate adequate radiation safety practices for patients and co-workers. Participate in all Radiology Management System functions related to patient procedures. Provide patient education as required. Maintain effective communications with referring physicians and radiologist staff for efficient delivery of CT procedures. Abide by the service delivery standards of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology. Adhere to accepted clinical principles, methods, and procedures while performing CT procedures. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Associate's degree in radiologic technology. NYS Radiology Technologist license (NYS Department of Health). ARRT (R) Certification. BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross). ARRT CT Registration preferred. Why ARMStaffing?
