Responsibilities
Specimen accessioning, processing, and analysis across multiple disciplines.
Running automated and manual tests, including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, and transfusion medicine.
Performing quality control, instrument calibration, and maintenance to ensure accuracy.
Verifying results and communicating them promptly to clinicians.
Documenting procedures in compliant electronic health record systems.
Participating in run reviews, proficiency testing, and contributing to standard operating procedures to optimize workflow and turnaround times.
