This is advanced mechanical and electrical work as lead worker over a variety of repair and maintenance functions in water plants, wastewater plants, lift stations and booster stations.
Jurisdiction: Saraland Water and Sewer Board. Starting Salary: $55,772 - $69,652.
Minimum Requirements Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, preferably supplemented by completion of a trade school or apprenticeship program in the electrical field, and a minimum of three years mechanical and electrical maintenance experience at the level of Lift Station Mechanic I; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
