Position Summary Greenberry Industrial is hiring an experienced Orbital Welder for a high-tech construction project in Taylor, Texas. This field-based project role supports precision welding activities in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong orbital welding skills and the ability to meet strict quality and inspection standards.

Pay & Benefits

Pay Rate:

$50-55 per hour (DOE)

Overtime:

Available depending on project schedule

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality orbital welds in accordance with WPS and project requirements

Set up and operate orbital welding machines and related equipment

Verify weld integrity through visual inspection and coordination with QA/QC personnel

Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols

Comply with all safety requirements, including OSHA and site-specific rules

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe working condition

Collaborate with project team members to meet schedule and quality goals

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as an Orbital Welder on industrial or high-tech projects

Orbital welding certifications

(or equivalent documented experience/training)

Ability to

successfully pass an orbital weld test

as a condition of employment

Experience welding stainless steel tubing and piping systems

Ability to follow detailed procedures and quality standards

Strong work ethic, reliability, and safety mindset

Physical Demands & Work Environment This role is performed in a construction environment. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to qualified individuals with disabilities.

Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods

Ability to lift, carry, and handle tools and materials weighing up to

50 pounds

Ability to perform repetitive hand, arm, and finger movements required for welding

Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying temperatures as required

Required use of PPE, including welding helmet, gloves, and protective clothing
