Industrial Maintenance Technician 7p-7a (12‑hour night shift – 7p–7a, 2‑2‑3 schedule)
Location: Dickson, TN. Contract role with potential for permanent hire.
Pay:
$35–$40 per hour.
Job Overview Manpower Engineering is hiring an electrical‑focused Industrial Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturer in Dickson, TN.
Responsibilities
Repair and maintain all equipment and machinery; conduct inspections, troubleshoot, test, and adjust plant systems and machinery, and perform preventive maintenance.
Respond promptly to all safety and emergency calls and fulfill all tasks requested by supervisors, superintendents, or other management personnel.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 2–5 years of maintenance experience.
Experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing.
Preferred Knowledge & Abilities
Ability to read hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic schematics and ladder diagrams.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
Strong electrical skills: testing, troubleshooting, wiring motors, VFDs, PLCs, and troubleshooting shorts.
Knowledge of electrical machinery control and interpretation of logic; PLC programming is a plus.
Experience with Fanuc robots (i/o review and understanding) helpful.
Welding experience helpful but not required.
Completion of a two‑year technical college diploma or certificate desired.
Automotive industry experience helpful.
Experience with both power distribution and hard‑wire control techniques.
