Location: Store #3162, 10100 6th Avenue North, Plymouth, MN 55441 Job Type: Part‑Time Starting Pay: $16.68/hr (based on experience)
Responsibilities
Prepare customers’ paint orders quickly and accurately.
Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
Prepare drawdowns for customer submittals.
Clean, fill, and repair equipment as needed.
Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
Stock shelves and set up displays.
Clean store equipment.
Load/unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries when required.
Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and recommending products and services.
Process sales transactions accurately, in line with policies and procedures.
Maintain in‑stock and presentable condition of assigned areas.
Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
Comply with inventory control procedures.
Suggest ways to improve sales.
Minimum Qualifications
At least eighteen (18) years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
Physically able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
Willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
For internal Sherwin‑Williams candidates: a recent performance appraisal rating of “meets expectations” (3) or higher.
For internal Sherwin‑Williams candidates: completion of all required HR Cloud eLearning courses.
Preferred Qualifications
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
Experience selling paint and paint‑related products.
Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
Proficiency in more than one language, including Spanish.
