Job Description Sirius Staffing is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate for temp-to-hire opportunities in Whitsett, NC. This role will be on the 1st shift and is responsible for daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail‑oriented, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment with a focus on accuracy and organization.
Requirements
Must be 18 years or older
Must be able to read, speak, and understand English
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Key Responsibilities
Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against shipping documents (packing lists, bills of lading, etc.)
Enter received goods into the warehouse system using purchase orders or advance ship notices, noting and resolving discrepancies with the Receiving Technician
Inspect returned materials to confirm condition and quantities against return authorizations
Pick materials from inventory using pick lists or handheld scanners and move items to designated order‑fill areas
Load products into cartons or onto pallets according to order requirements
Verify counts and record data using barcode scanners and manual system entries
Package orders according to established packaging guidelines
Label shipments and include required documentation
Process outbound shipment transactions, ensuring accurate counts and packaging integrity
Prepare shipping paperwork and coordinate with carriers to ensure proper loading and labeling
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership, including supervisors and leads
