Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Insight Global is hiring a Scheduler to support next‑generation Defense Acquisition Programs.
In this role, you’ll help shape the future of space‑based sensing by developing and managing schedules for complex Major Defense Acquisition Programs. You’ll work with teams and government clients to rapidly deliver resilient Missile Warning, TISR, and Environmental Monitoring capabilities. Your work will guide planning and development for space, ground, software, and hardware systems across the Space Force. Requirements
4+ years of experience with systems engineering or project management, schedule planning, and development efforts on Major Defense Acquisition Programs, including space, ground, software, or hardware systems 2+ years of experience developing and managing the schedules of Major Defense Acquisition Programs to include integration, testing, transition to operation activities, critical paths, and analysis of schedule impacts and recommendation of corrective actions Experience with scheduling tools, such as One Pager Pro, Milestones Professional, and Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint, Project, and Excel Experience working on DoW sustainment programs either in scheduling or project management Ability to identify, document, and integrate technical and programmatic data describing systems, segments, and external drivers to review and provide input to the schedule Nice If You Have
Experience performing systems engineering, program management, and schedule development activities on space-based remote sensing systems Experience using a Model-Based Systems Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baseline Experience managing annual schedule activities for remote sensing sustainment programs, working with large amounts of data, and utilizing metrics to improve processes and ensure consistency and standardization across the organization Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02 Knowledge of space systems and their corresponding design, development, manufacturing, integration and testing, deployment, operations, and decommissioning activities TS/SCI clearance Master’s degree in an Engineering, Business (and related degrees, Finance, Economics), Mathematics, CS, Physics, or relevant field Seniority level
