Job Description The Warehouse Associate I performs the loading and unloading of delivery trucks, moves and stores materials/products. Team members are required to rotate to various positions throughout the warehouse [picker, loader, dough room, trailer sanitation] as assigned. Assists in other departments as needed. Works in a safe manner at all times.
Shift:
Start time 8:00 AM. Must be available to work between Monday-Sunday 4 days/10 hours shift with rotating days off
Compensation:
$20.00/hourly; bi-weekly
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Although this may be your primary duty or function, you are expected to be cross-trained in other areas of the business and assist in those areas on an as-needed basis and use standard operating procedures (SOP) to perform required tasks.
Picking, Staging, Loading
Specific detail about picking SOP (per Stop loading/SAP warehouse)
Complete load Verification with handheld scanner and verifies accuracy of assembled loads
Stages each customer order with the use of handheld scanner in preparation of loading onto delivery truck
Moves product from staging area to truck using LoadMaps to ensure maximum delivery accuracy
Secures load within cargo area of truck through the use of load bars and straps
Uses "First In, First Out" (FIFO) procedure to ensure proper rotation of existing stock with inventory
Follow Scan, Pick, Verify method
Follow proper safety trailer inspection procedures
Unloads and sanitizes inbound trucks
Removes carts and dough trays from truck
Thoroughly cleans cargo area of truck to ensure sanitary storage area for product during transport
Verify that trailers are pre-cool prior to loading
Remove any product return from the trailers, log it, and place it in the return racks
Follow proper safety procedures
Miscellaneous
Using safe work procedures, opens bales, crates and other containers to unload product into warehouse
Maintains safe work area through general housekeeping and performs sanitation functions as required

Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
1-2 years of previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment (preferred)
Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory control (preferred)
Company certification to operate warehouse equipment such as forklift or pallet jack
Must successfully pass a background checks every third year on your anniversary date
Understanding of safe lifting practices
Willing and able to work any day or shift as we are a 24/7 operation, including weekends and/or holidays
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, climb and walk on a continual basis throughout shift
Ability to push or pull up to 50 lbs. frequently throughout work shift
Ability to lift from floor to above the head, 50 lbs. frequently, and 75 lbs. occasionally, throughout work shift
Ability to work in temperatures as low as 15 degrees
Ability to do the same work repeatedly and for long hours
Ability to meet productivity requirements
Must be able to work wearing the Proper Protective Equipment
