Location:
Sumter, SC
Schedule:
3‑2‑2‑3, 12‑hour shifts (8 AM – 8 PM)
Responsibilities
Maintain supplies of major/minor ingredients and process oil for production.
Deliver minor ingredients to 2nd floor for Banbury usage.
Follow production schedules and complete Lot History forms accurately.
Operate electric walkie and sit‑down forklift (preferred).
Lift up to 50 lbs frequently; work in hot/cold, noisy environments.
Keep work area and equipment clean to prevent contamination.
Maintain records for lot and batch traceability.
Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor/Lead.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
1+ year manufacturing experience OR 2–3 years machine operation experience.
Forklift experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment
BD is a smoke‑free campus. Smoking and the use of electronic smoking devices, marijuana, or tobacco products are not allowed on BD property, grounds or in the parking areas. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this policy.
False eyelashes, press‑on fingernails, and jewelry are not allowed on the production floor including dermals. Any associate wearing dermals will be required to cover them while working on the production floor.
Shoes are required to be steel toe and non‑slip for all associates while on the production floor for safety purposes.
