Warehouse Associate – Wiha Tools USA, Monticello, MN
Description The Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of tasks in the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, and assembly. The role requires the ability to cross‑train in other warehouse functions to support daily business needs.
General Responsibilities
Accurately pick, pack, label, and stage outbound shipments / production orders based on customer and carrier requirements.
Verify product quantities, lot numbers, and packaging before shipment to ensure order accuracy.
Inspect inbound materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues to management.
Maintain accurate inventory records, including movements, adjustments, and cycle counts, using the warehouse management system.
Perform regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory audits.
Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks in compliance with company safety policies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA‑compliant warehouse environment.
Cross‑train in multiple warehouse functions to support business continuity.
Perform additional duties as assigned to meet operational needs.
Skills & Qualifications
Professional communication with colleagues and business partners.
Good manual dexterity for repetitive tasks.
Problem‑solving and the ability to apply new ideas.
Prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Positive attitude and teamwork to achieve organizational goals.
Capability to safely use motorized warehouse equipment, including electric lift vehicles.
Physical Demand
Lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 40 pounds.
Repetitive hand motions.
Standing for extended periods; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling or crouching.
Vision required for both near and far distances as well as peripheral sight.
Education & Experience
Previous distribution center or warehouse experience preferred.
Forklift operation experience preferred.
