As a Warehouse Clerk , you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the flow of materials, finished goods, and documentation throughout the supply chain. Utilizing the plant’s MRP system, you will process transfers, prepare reports and labels, schedule customer shipments, and collaborate with inventory control and warehouse personnel to ensure timely and accurate operations. This role demands strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining quality, legality, and safety standards while keeping work areas organized and contaminant‑free.
Responsibilities
Provide front lobby reception coverage, receive and route a high volume of calls.
Provide information to callers, relay messages, and announce visitors.
Ensure compliance and manage visitor sign‑in log, issue visitor badges, and escort visitors as needed.
Place monthly office supply orders and maintain inventory of the supply room.
Assist in administrative projects and overflow work from different departments.
Sort and distribute incoming mail.
Maintain cleanliness of lobby.
Assist with faxing, copying, mailing/distribution, etc.
Utilize plant MRP (Materials Resource Planning) system (SAP) to process all finished goods transfers to and from outside storage warehouses and customers.
Prepare and publish reports, documents and spreadsheets.
Schedule all customer pickups, appointments, and direct customer shipments.
Work with inventory control to ensure timely and accurate inventory adjustments.
Prepare documents, labels, and packaging and submit online information for UPS shipments.
Direct and coordinate inbound and outbound drivers to facilitate efficient receipt and shipment of materials at plant.
Communicate with warehouse personnel, plant personnel and management to ensure the efficient operation of shipping and receiving department.
Work to maintain and improve on the quality, legality and safety of each product and the processes used in their manufacture.
Keep assigned work area clean and tidy at all times, and report any potential contamination and suspicious activity to a Supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Microsoft Office proficiency required.
SAP knowledge preferred.

$20 - $24 per hour
