Job Details
Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours (8am‑5pm) – occasional Saturday volunteer shifts may be required.
Position: Full‑time.
Location: 4506 S Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703.
Start date: Immediate openings available.
Hiring: Responding promptly – prepare for a call or email to schedule an interview.
Pay
Base pay range: $16.00/hr – $27.00/hr.
Pay ranges by education/ABA experience:
High School/Associate’s Degree: $15.50 – $23.50/hr.
Bachelor’s Degree: $16.50 – $25.50/hr.
Master’s Degree: $17.50 – $27.00/hr.
First raise after obtaining RBT certification (typically within ~3 weeks).
What You’ll Be Doing
Work one‑on‑one with children aged 18 months to 8 years using play‑based ABA therapy.
Follow personalized treatment plans, collect simple data, and communicate with your team.
Help kids learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands‑on activities.
Stay active during sessions, moving constantly to keep children engaged.
Maintain a clean, organized, safe therapy space.
Be part of a supportive, mission‑driven team that celebrates progress and growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and move quickly with young children.
Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, squatting, and floor work.
Maintain an active pace throughout the day.
Keep therapy spaces clean, organized, and safe.
Minimum 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Consistent attendance and punctuality.
Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire.
Commitment to ABC’s core values, including teamwork and occasional support to sister clinics.
